The new base is located in Desen Industrial Park, Jiangjin District, Chongqing City and is dedicated to the local production of ABB's latest turbocharger system. These advanced products can increase the output power of diesel engines by three times and increase fuel efficiency by more than 10%.
The new production site covers an area of ​​73,000 square meters, which is three times larger than the original site and has a building area of ​​21,000 square meters. It is one of ABB's three largest turbocharger system production bases in the world (the other two bases are in Switzerland respectively. And India). ABB is the world's largest supplier of turbochargers in the 500-kilowatt and above category, with a market share of more than 30%, and is primarily targeted at customers in the marine, railway and power plant sectors.
